hows your seaon going for you hunters

Featured Replies

Not to be a butthead because 11 points is impressive, but that buck looks kind of small. Thin neck, the antlers don't seem to have much girth, etc. Did you get a weight?

I didn't get a weight. I'm not much of a deer hunter, so I couldn't begin to guess what his rack might score. I did notice that it wasn't a real heavy rack, but it was fairly tall and wide with 11 points plus a couple of nontypical stickers that you can't see in the pictures. I just talked to the guy for a few minutes, snapped a couple of pictures and went on my way. Here is a look from another angle.

I see.  Great buck anyway, nobody I know has seen much of anything yet.

Out here the Duck hunting has been killer this year. Tons of birds. Were shooting limits pretty much every time we go out.

Tonight was ok until I flipped the 4 wheeler on me.

How did you manage that?  It didn't break the deer's rack did it?

opening day here for rifles was saturday for deer. didnt see a thing unfortunately. will have some more opportunities soon though.

Firearm season just opened today in MI. Spent the morning on stand and saw 1 big doe with a yearling, back after them on Wednesday! Stay safe.
