Which Swimbaits Do I Need

Featured Replies

What are some must have BIG swimbaits you all use?

So far Ive just got a Hudd Trout12(thanks to burley) and a KingKong. Thats already $70 in bait. :(

Baby wake is awesome, but if you're really budget minded, the MS Slammer and Spro BBZ floater are both great wake baits as well.

How much do you want to spend is more the question you should ask  ;D So many options!

Hudd 5 is my favorite, I LOVE baitsmiths too, they catch quantity and quality. I also really enjoy throwing a triple trout.

I believe I noticed on the Mattlures site that Matt is selling Woodys again. Its a must have double jointed wake bait. I use the trout color and don't even have trout in most of the lakes I fish. Tru-Tungsten bluegill is a must have as well. Also a must have is a slow sink lipless bait with double joints like a BBZ, Kong, Rago etc. Just get the bait of these three that matches the forage in your lakes best. I don't use my King Kongs anymore since there are so many other baits that do what the King Kong does better.

You guys are killing me with all this swim bait advertisement. I just ordered the 3:16 and the tru-tungsten.

The most expensive ones you can find for the cheapest prices and alot of'em cause you'll lose some and rods too if you're not holdin' on real good.
