Aw man!!!! (re: Battle: Los Angeles)

Featured Replies

I was so looking forward to seeing a decent Sci Fi film.  The special effects looked awesome but now I hear Battle: Los Angeles blows chunks like nearly everything else!  Anyone see it?

Depends, who said it blows chunks? Was it a real critic, cause if so then I got to be seeing it. Ain't nothing a critic hates that i have not liked.

I'll check it out with it's on DVD.

Have you seen District 9, Dark City, or Moon? They're three of my favorite sci-fi movies. ***, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Children Of Men are all recent sci-fi films to check out if you're looking for some good sci-fi.

I'm not big on movie critics, but I sometimes use this site to find new movies on Netflix.

I don't care how bad it is.  Even if it's horrible, it's better than the move I just saw...

Possibly the worst movie ---- EVER.

That's gotta be Troll 2, with an honorable mention to Wishmaster 2. There was even an award winning documentary about Troll 2 being the worst movie ever made, called Best Worst Movie.

I thought it was cool as s$&*

I will go see the movie, sci-fi is best watched on a theater screen IMO.

The sci-fi movies today have to much computer generated content. I like the special effects, but not for 120 minutes.

I got my reviews from Rotten Tomatoes.  Critics gave it 32%. Most said it was all action and special effects with no substance.  This is generally how i feel about most movies these days.  The "audience" gave it a 66%-which is better but not great.

Although it would probably be better on the wide screen, I think I'll wait until it comes out on video.  Think I'll go see "The King's Speech" instead.
