I was at the river last night after some bass. We were fishing weed beds in about 3 feet of water, there was tires everywhere. I spotted a nice catty by a tire, he was about 30 inches or so. As I got closer to the tire, I noticed there was a smaller one in the tire yet, he was about 25 inches, but he was really fat. So I hung over the edge of the boat and tried to get him, called noodling or grabbin, I tried several times to get up under his belly and grab his mouth, but failed. He made a turn and looked right at my hand, so I tickled his chin, he bit but he didn't bite enough that I could get ahold, then he got out. I have yet to successfuly noodle a catfish, but I will. I'll save it for the next time I talk to ya!    I'll just say, I got Dad's version of the story and leave it at that.

True, but don't forget! I know that boat VERY well. The view isn't as different as you think! Especially with the details I was given!!!  ;D
