OBX surf fishing report...who has a some info??

Featured Replies

So I'm leaving this thursday to head down to the OBX near Oregon inlet to do some camping and fishing. I have looked at a few sites and haven't really found any up to date fishing reports for surf and pier fishing and was wondering, do any of you guys know whats biting?

I'll be there with a few buddies for two and a half days and we are hoping to get into some fish. Any info would be great, thanks!

im not totally sure but you might get a few early bluefish going migrating north.  Put a few Gotcha's on there with a leader about 4" long (either wire or a thick mono maybe 30-50bls) and see how those will work

Good luck!

Used to go there around this time of year. Kingfish were hitting then. See if you can Google "Outer Banks bait and tackle" and try to get the phone # of a local tackle shop. They'll have the best and most recent info.
