ragetail chunk

Featured Replies

got some at dicks and after leaving i noticed that one pack didn't have a plastic casing (somebody probablly took it out).  i hear the plastic casing is meant to stop the baits from getting messed up and i don't want warped baits.  dicks is far away and gas would cost more than the baits so i cna't go and return then.  does anyone know what i could do? can i send them strikeking and get them replaced?

That sucks. I'd call Strike-King or email them. Maybe Dick's too? They should give you that casing, as the lures are freakin 5 bucks!

The hardshell clams on chunks just came out a couple of weeks ago and the ones that you purchased that aren't in the hardshell were probably stocked the week previous. I'm sure they are great.   ;)

Big O

i'm sure you'll be fine... i have a pack without the casing and they are doing just fine

I haven't really noticed any problems with the craws or chunks getting warped in the old packaging.I don't think the new packaging is 100% necessary on those but it does make them "perfect".

The toads and shads are a different story.I had a few of the older ones that didn't run correctly. The new clamshells fixed that.

The clams are definitely a plus, but you should be fine with the ones you bought.  With the other products for rage tail, my favorite part about the clams is that they fit into my pocket.  Having whatever color/style of bait that is working right there, but out of the way is very nice and makes re-rigging much easier.
