rage tail chunk warped/bent

Featured Replies

today i received my order of rage chunks and strike king jigs from tackle warehouse and one of the chunks has a bent up claw/arm.  what should i do?  will tackle warehouse refund the purchase and pay shipping for the return journey?

dip the thing into boiling water for a few seconds and it should return to its molded shape

I can't find it right now but several months back there was a post about straightening these guys out. You might try searching around to see if it comes up. Or, get ahold of Big O. I'm sure he can help you.

Send Big O a PM and he can tell you what to do to correct it.

Throw it in the boiling water for about 2 minutes.  My rage tail shads wouldn't run right because the tail kept wanting to stay on 1 side.  The boiling water corrected that.

Place in cup of hot water near boil for a few minutes or so and cool it same time in cool water..Done and it works on all soft plastic baits.

Thanks for helping him guys  ;)

it looks fine now but it got a little soft because i acidentlly put it in boiling water.  it should still work fine though.

Cool. I have a couple of Zoom chunk trailers from *** too that has claw bent like that in the bag. I'll try the hot water. Thanks.
