Been having pretty good luck with the *** in a small area, but didn't realize how much the bass liked them till today.  Kept 3 fish for dinner last Monday, noticed a bulge in one's stomach and cut it open.  It had one of my Trick Sticks in it's stomach for a while.  Today again kept 3 fish for dinner, same thing but a bigger bulge.  Opened it up a found 2 Trick sticks in this one with one a little older than the other---some fish never learn.

Don't even chunk the used one's in the lake, they must be from when they have stripped it from the hook and often when they are fighting they will shake them off the line/hook.  Spot I am in the fish congregate pretty good and I often see 2-3 fish trying to get the bait from a hooked fish.

Just out of curiousity, how are the action of these compared to the senko? I love senkos but they get quite expensive at the rate of one per fish...

but heres a little tip,

take a piece of 3/8" heat shrink tubing and slip it over the worm, then shrink it to fit the worm. then wacky rig it like normal, but make sure you go thru the part with the tube on it. the tube really locks the bait to the hook and you can get MANY more fish off one bait.

So far I haven't wacky rigged them, just been Tex rigging with a 1/8 oz weight.  I never even consider a Senko, too much money for no more quality, fish.  I also fish them deeper with 3/8 oz weight.  These baits work weightless, but they also work with weights.

Thats not a bad idea... i really don't like the o-ring method but i might give that a try. where do you get heat shrink tubing?

Any hardware store or home improvement store (Lowes, Home Depot) should have it.  It will likely be w/ the electrical connectors.

Good tip, I will try that this week.

Heat shrink should be readily available at Radio Shack.

A lighter will work just fine.

I got to use the senkos with the heat shrink tubing, and it was amazing... now if only i could just never snag i don't think i'd ever lose a senko

try using weedless hooks, its almost impossible to snag anything with those.
