Sweet beaver do i pull apart the tabs

Featured Replies

I've been fishing them with the tabs pulled apart, but is that correct.

Either way, I fish beavers alone, and as jig trailers. I have noticed ZERO difference. I usually don't pull them apart, if no fish after 10 or 20 casts, I separate them.

Sometimes it makes all the difference in the world for me on certain days.

When fishing them alone, I don't think it makes a big difference but I always separate it when using  it as a jig trailer. The legs kick as the jig drops and it gives a little more action to the bait.

More action, less action. What do you want? What do the bass want? Either way is fine.

I'll begin to start by not pulling them apart then pulling them, how is the white trash color.

Great bed fishing color. Not sure I'd use it any other time then spring time. That's just me though.

There's so many awesome colors, it's tough to go wrong.

I have other colors, but I wanted to experiment they look pretty good  ;)

I never pull them apart.  When a crawfish darts, its pinchers come together, which is the basis of the Sweet Beaver design (brilliant I might add).  I guess even when you separate the tail,  the water pushes them together when you move it.
