"........and hopefully someday I'll accomplish one or the other".

Isnt he the one that was on the stupid romance show my wife watches,,, ummmmm oh yea,, Bachelor?????  If so, who cares about the money,, he has one beautiful woman at his side, and she loves to fish too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people would rather be poor and happy at what they do,, than be rich and miserable at what they do.

That is one thing I tried to bestow upon my daughters.     If you aren't happy with your choice of career, you will take that unhappiness home to the family.   Better to love what you do, than be miserable at a good paying job.

Matt.

I must have missed the joke in there somewhere. :o

hmmmmm- how about both----

Make 100K and then you could fish when and where you want--yeah--thats the ticket 8-)

Yeah, judging from this past years elite series,  Velvick realy isn't that good.  If he was better, he could make a whole lot more fishing.

"........and hopefully someday I'll accomplish one or the other".

That was too funny...!!    ;D    ;D    ;D

..... a little harsh though.  (I'm sure he has made $100,000 from that show he was on)

I agree with Velvick though, but you have to have a good mixture of course so you can have enough money to fish... unless you fish as a professional (can't fish for very long with just $1,000 {and make the cost of living}).

Byron makes the 2007 Elite Series and then wins AOY, well he did the first part now he just has to win AOY.
