BASS rookie Derek Remitz won his first event a couple of weeks ago on Amistad.  Now, after day one on the Delta, he's in 2nd place.  That's amazing!

That is amazing.  What is more amazing to me is that he stuck to his guns at Amistad.  He didn't get caught up in doing what everyone else was doing.  He had his plan, and he stuck to it, he just kept throwing that jig knowing the bite was going to come.  If I was a betting man, I'd bet that he threw that jig all day yesterday as well.  

Note to self... throw the jig, when you get tired of throwing it throw it a 1000 more times.  

this kid grew up in the midwest if he stay's this consistant going into the northeastern tourney's he could run away with the aoy and roy what a feat that would be.

He was leading after day 2.

He finished second this weekend on the Delta in Ca.     What a start for the rookie this year.

Glad to see A-Mart win one.     Aaron just had a new baby, so the win was on time.
