Ultimate Match Fishing?

Who here is watching Ultimate Match Fishing?

I can't wait to see if Boyd can pull an upset with the two hour free fish.  I still think Luke got the short end the stick by getting caught with 6 fish in the live well during the quarter finals.

BTW, what you are watching is last season's show - I won't spoil the ending for you though.

I appreciate it bud, I've  been watching the show religiously since I DVR it.

Anyway, I am kind of pulling for Boyd, but I doubt he will win.  I also can't believe how much of a jerk Clausen has been throughout the season with his antics of cutting the line and admitting he would do anything to win.

I know who wins too :).  I agree everyone else on the show has seemed like they genuinely like each other,  but Claussen seems like a real a hole.

I also just saw the first half of the finals for the first time. I don't follow the show as religiously as some.

I gotta say that Kelly Jordan put on a CLINIC with that friggin spoon. 5 big fish in 9 minutes? That's just nuts!

Yeah, Kelly was on FIRE.  I think he said in all his years of tournament fishing he never did that, nor did Boyd ever see anything like it.

Kelly has done that before, maybe not in a tournament, but have seen him do that on Fork.        Two years ago while filming an TV episode on Lake Fork, Kelly nailed 11 fish with Storms Swimbaits in bunker color totalling alittle over 100 pounds.   Not too shabby.     Buddy of mine and I watched the filming of it.   Not bad for dragging a swim on a road bed in late summer.

That is nuts. I have fished Fork before and even though I have never done that I know that when everything lines up right that Lake can produce a sack like that. I mean really there is 10 pound bass everywhere in that place.  :o

Everyone on the show seemed cool except for LeFebre. He bit Gagliardi's line off when he was trying to land afish which resulting in him falling in the waterto try to reach the fish.  I've seen him at a few fishing expos and he's seemed pretty layed back but that taking a joke a bit too far.

Besides....Zell Rowland is and always will be the man.

Dude, you've got your shows or your names mixed up - it was Clausen that bit through the line while Brent Ehler was trying to land a fish that probably would have made the match more competitive - karma finally caught up with Luke when he was DQ's for having 6 fish in the live well.

Does anybody remember how G Swindle got lambasted for rippin on Luke the year before - maybe there was some bad blood already out there or maybe Luke took his cue from the G man.  No sure.
