dumbest thing you've done while fishing
When I got my first boat. We were at table rock. Boat ran good all day till we were ready to leave. I tried to start it and it wasn't getting fire. We took all spark plugs out and checked them and couldnt find it. Paid a guy $80 to pull me in. Got home dropped it off at the shop. He called me before I got home said the boat was fixed to come get it. When I got there he said. "Do you know what a kill switch is"? I wanted to crawl under a rock.

Denny Brauer F-700 Flippin Reel
I have one that I use strictly with big jigs around brush and dock cable with 65lb braid at lake of the ozarks. I really like. You'll be surprised how far you can actually cast it as well. One problem when you catch a good one. The braid really digs in on itself. Best flipping and pitching reel I've used.

Texas Lake For.spring Trip
We usually come down to lake fork in the spring . If they don't get some rain soon I dont wanna fish it and risk losing lower unit. Can anyone recommend another lake within hour or 2 of dallas that won't be so hazzardous as a backup.

Bass Fishing On A Budget
Come on a ranger doing 70!!! Seriously though great job in your tourney. I started out fishing ponds in a thin walled 10 ft jon boat that almost took on water over the top. I had a 17ft bass tracker with a 90hp that i won a little money out of. This yeaR I bought a Triton Tr21 with a 225 merc and 2 big humminbirds and didnt win a penny. but i gaurantee you I aint going back to the bass tracker. Stay at it and i gaurantee as you get older your boats will get bigger abd bigger.

Nothin Like That Feelin
My brilliant one is tieing on a new lure and cutting the end attached to the lure instead of the tag end.

2002 Triton Tr20
I went from a 17 foot fiberglass bass tracker to a triton tr21 this year. The difference is unbelievable . The ride is so much smoother. I roll over stuff at full throttle that beat me to death in the old boat. The deck space is really nice on the bigger boat. If the boat is in good shape go for it you won't be dissapointed. The speed and chine walk scared me to death at first. My old boat did 39mph and now I'm running 70+ but now its fun . Haven't had a boat pass me in this one either which I hated in the smaller boat.

Considering A New Tow Vehicle
Man I dont know. I have a 97 triton tr21. I got it this spring. I had a GMC Envoy XL with a 4.2 v6 vortec which pulled my old bass traCKER 17FT fiberglass just fine. I made several trips to Texas from Kansas City with no problems. As soon as i hooked up to the Triton I knew it wasnt gonna work. Just bogged it down real bad. Last straw was the 1st time i tried to pull it to Table rock. I didnt think it was gonna pull some of the hills. I got a new Tahoe and i barely know its back there. Id say at least get a pickup with a v8 if you can.
