I am looking for some recommendations for some replacemnt treble hooks for lipless and regular crankbaits.  Gamakatsu or Mustad, etc.  How abut EWG styles vs regular.  I have been looking at the Mustad triplegrips.

Buy in bulk, get a couple buddies to go in on it with you. How soon do you need some trebles? What sizes are you looking for?

I have had good luck with the triple grips.  Used to use Gamakatsu, but found the Triple Grips just as sharp/strong and at a lower price.  I am like you, $1/hook is way too steep.  I just set the hook a little harder---lol.
