Do you guys think they will catch them on Pencil Poppers again?  That was pretty wild the year they timed the herring spawn right and the Pencil Poppers outfished the state-of-the-art $20 lures.

I don't think the bluebacks are cooperating yet to get that "good" topwater bite. Could happen before the end of the tournament though.

Some are catching them on top water and others are bed fishing. It just depends on what area of the lake they are fishing. It will be a little windy tomorrow so it should make the sight fishing difficult. That should level the field. The Saturday the clouds will be out. On this lake the clouds will slow down the top water because the Bluebacks like the sun.
