Just wondering what it costs to enter a FLW tourny. I was watching them on TV and was watching some video's of them on you tube. Can anyone pay and fish those tourny's. How much MONEY does it cost? Just curious i may want to fish one some time before i get to old lol!!!!

Entry fee's, travel expenses to & from the lake, fuel cost for the boat, lodging, meals all have to be considered.

well i just wanted to know the entry fee they always fish down in Knoxville about ever year so that would be a fast easy trip.

In 2009 they are making it a requirement that you fish the whole circuit. just FYI

You also have to qualify to fish at that level through the BFL, then the Stren. You might could get in if you just want to fish it as a co-angler.

You also need to pay attention to the other things that you fish. I want to fish the Stren Series next year but if I do then I cannot fish the ABA. Certain tourney series like the ABA say you cannot spend over X amount of dollars in entry fees because then by their rules you are considered to be a pro.

And as mentioned above, you will be looking at about another grand or so in expenses a tourney depending on how many days you prefish. It is becomming a rich mans sport. >
