seems like a good guy. At first i tired of his constant "promoting", but after watching him he is at least consistent. Plus, I know he has had some heatlth issues. Good to see him win one.

I attended the weighin with my husband, step son and his friend from school. They had a blast chatting with Shaw while he waited in line.

This is when he knew he had it won.

I've always liked Shaw Grigsby. His book Bassmaster has traveled with me to Korea and Iraq (twice), and I never get tired of reading it.

Great guy mister Grigsby. I was at the weigh-in and I felt great seeing him win.  I went up to Palatka hoping he would double up but it was not to be.  It goes to show you how unfair fishing can be some times.  The situation up on the Saint John's and Lake George was so similar to what we had down here on Harris I thought Shaw would dominate.  Hope he is the last man standing on the podium real soon.

What health issues did he have?  Cancer?
