Tru-Tungsten Matt & Ish True-Life Swimbaits

Featured Replies

Hey, anybody get the opportunity to fish this bait yet? I've been doing pretty well with wake baits lately, and this bait seems like it'd make a great wake bait. Its only 4inches so thats perfect for my ponds as the biggest bass you see are 5lbers (and they are rare). And from what the video shows the action is amazing. Plus the colors look pretty good.

Although on the downside I've never done too well with jointed baits, and I have never really liked jointed baits. But this one looks like it might be different. And the other downside..the are all sold out.

So whats your opinion on this bait? Anyone fish them? Are they worth the 20$? Or are they nothing worth braggin about?

Oh By the way... here is a link to the bait incase you never seen it; http://www.***.com/descpageSWIMTRUTUNG-TTMISS.html#

I think it should slay the fish on most lakes.  I think this bait is gonna be a big producer for people who are a little reluctant to throw the big swimbaits.  My opinion is based up entirely on what I've heard and the few times that I have gotten to see the bait in person.  I don't own one, and won't for a little bit, so like I said, my opinion isn't really good.

Don't own one so I'm in Ryans boat but I have to comment.  If you are ready to throw that bait, I say take the extra step right off the bat and throw the full size swims.  Just saying, the 1 thing that keeps people from throwing the big stuff is lack of confidence in such a bait.  This bait is no different than those, only by size.

GO BIG!  I think you're ready.

I personally would pay 20.00 in a heartbeat for one of those right now.It looks sick.

I would also pay at least 49.99 for the full size one. Unfortunately I would be forced to swim in some gator infested waters to get it back should I get it hung up :-/

How about a plug knocker or a lure retriever? :)

Go big?! You don't understand, im fishing tiny ponds, with tiny bass. I'd love to go big, but the biggest I see is 5lbs, and thats very rare. Most quality fish in the ponds im fishing I consider 1lb+. The common "big" fish you see are 2-3lbers.

You think it might be possible that the you've just never seen a big girl in there because your offering hasn't been interesting to them?  Tiny ponds hold bigguns allll the time, and are some of my favorite places to throw swimbaits.  Not to mention that I catch a lot of 2-4lb class on swimbaits very regularly.

It doesn't matter the size of a fish, i've had 3# LM completely engulf an 8" hudd, I've had 1# smallies attack a full size BBZ.

I talked to a couple buddies that own them, They both said the one thing they don't like is that after a couple days of fishing, the paint is starting to come off, not just normal wear and tear from hooks and such. They suggested putting a coat of epoxy on it before you throw it to save the paint. Other then that they thought they where cool baits
