Boat/Truck wraps

Featured Replies

I have heard so much about the boat/truck wraps. Some say you get paid to drive a wrapped vehicle or to drive your vehicle wrapped. I was looking to find if any of you guys have any experience with the ad wraps. It seems like a cool way to make some extra cash. If this is an inappropriate location for this post please move it to a more feasible location. Thanks guys!

If you are sponsored by the company yes you will make some extra cash. My friend is a National Guard pro staffer as a co angler and he does not have to have a wrap

The problem alot of guys run into is actually selling space on the wrap. Alot of the lesser known or guys that fish stuff like the Opens have a hard time getting someone to buy the space.

Just look at any of the news stories that were on Bassmaster when they first went to the wraps.

Most wrap deals are different, depending on who you are and how well known you are....some guys get a certain $ figure worth of the sponsors products, others get a check once or twice a year :)...some sponsors require you to bring vehicle or boat to tackle shows or grand opening of Joe's Takle Town, etc :(...... the more you do for the sponsor the more yu get from the sponsor....Downside is sometimes it takes a lot of time from you and your fishing & family and someone is always

making up stories :o..."that xyz boat was speeding thru the idle zone"...

or that guy gave me the bird...& etc.....you become a marked man and have to be nice to everyone...no more flying the bird ::)...!!...lol

You are required to conduct your life, business, and all other activities as thought you live in a glass house. Every minute of every day you are on stage so to speak.
