Although I cannot reveal yet. I signed the contracts for the 2008 season this morning. I can tell you this much. It is not an outdoor or fishing company. It is a soap manufacturer that has decided to spend a few dollars in this area. I have been aproaching them for three years. when it is OK to release the in formation I will do so and post a copy of my letters to them along with all of the details. I thought this was a reach and had decided in July not to approach again this year but gave it one more try. Morale to this story do not limit yourself to the types of companies that you approach and do not give up hope. I can tell you this is a cash only deal that will help me with entry fees and travel expenses.

Congratulations on your deal. Do you live in AL? Saw the Tide reference... sorry but I am an LSU guy.

Congrats your living the dream! ;)

Thanks, as soon as I can I will post the letters. They will get you in the door and then it is up to you to sell yourself.

You must be stoked!

And a great writer

Persistance.

FFD- Please educate some of the folks as to how many companies you approached and how often.  I have a friend who gets help from a Vet clinic and an insurance company. A result of a trip down main st that he does every yr.  Every Business. (well, just about, he skips the bars)

If you keep casting, you are bound to get bit.

Congrats on your contract, hope the $$ takes a bit of the burden off you so you can CONCENTRATE ON WINNING!!

Go get 'em ;)
