Hello my name is Nick and I am 15. I have been fishing since I was about 4 years old and I have a few friends that want to start up a fishing club based in santa barbra southern california for boaters and non boaters. If anyone could provide some tips on how to publicise the club and start up small tournaments that would be great.

I think the best way to start is to advertise in your local tackle shop. You can ask the manager if they would post a sign or keep flyers on the front counter for you. Maybe even a sign up sheet at the store. Good luck. If you were a little more south I would consider joining.
