club costs

I belong to a small tournament club in Manassas, VA that has been around for about 20 years or so.  The annual dues are $30, tournaments are $20 with an additional $5 for biggest fish pool.  A percentage goes to the club , with the remainder divided proportional to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.

I belong to 4 different clubs, the dues and tournament fee's are about the same for each.

Except for the Triton Team Trail it's kind of exspensive(#4)

(1) yearly dues $80 per team $50 per tournament 90% payback

(2) yearly dues $50 per team member $40 per tournament

(3) yearly dues $50 per team tournament fees $50/$100 double up per team

    100% payback

(4) yearly dues $50 per team $200 per tournament

For my club the annual dues are $20 and we have an optional calcutta series that has an additional $20 fee.  We collect optional $5 dock pools for big stringer (1st, 2nd & 3rd) and for Big Bass for each tournament and calcutta.  These are paid back at the end of the tournament.  The calcutta dues are paid back at the end of the year for the place leaders based on the number of entrants.

My clubs dues are $25 a yr, and I can fish in any one of the 100 divisions that we have to offer for tournaments. Weeknights are $40 for team plus optional $5 for big bass. Weekends are $115 for team and optional $10 for big bass. The Monday night division that I run is also a Skeeter sanctioned trail, which means, if we get 30+ boats and a Skeeter/Yamaha boat wins, they get an extra $1000 from Skeeter. If they are in a 2006 with a 225 or larger hp, they win $2000. Not bad for just running a 30 boat tournament, HUH?
