Any clubs in Atlanta, GA?

Featured Replies

Just moved to Atlanta and wanted to find a good bass club here...any suggestions?  Thanks.

SkiBum,

If you're interested in finding a B.A.S.S. affiliated club there, check out the website for the Georgia Federation Nation:    www.gabassfn.com     I'm sure there are links or contact numbers there for folks that can put you in touch with a local club.

Good luck and good fishing,

Hillbilly

You can check out the High Voltage Bass Anglers.  They have a website  www.highvoltagebassanglers.com

They are a jon boat tournament club.  A lot of really nice guys.  I am seriously considering joining and fishing with them this coming year.

Have heard some good things about the High Voltage club, I know Randall from this site fishes with them.  I tried to get in touch with someone on their website but had no luck.

Does anyone when and where their next meeting is?  Also, do you have to be a great fisherman?  I am just getting in to it but it would be great to learn from other people.

Thanks.

SkiBum,

Their next meeting is Dec. 7th in Jefferson... (this is thier planning meeting for next year)  It is posted in the discussion section on thier website..  You can post there, to get info from the guys who run the club.....

We are moving to the N. GA area in the summer so if you get hooked up with a good club Please let me Know. thanks Steve.

Fullpull, are you looking for a jon boat club or a B.A.S.S. associated club?  Lots of clubs out there depending on where you are moving to in N. Georgia.

Hey, Fishbear, this club looks ideal to me. I have a 14' jonboat, but nobody in the back. The way I have it set up, I'm not sure that I want anybody behind me when I fish. :-/Is this club strictly for teams? Also, I live in Cartersville, and it looks like this club is set up more toward the eastern side of Atl. If anybody knows about a similar club on my end of town, hook me up. I really want to get back into the tournament scene, either this year or next.

SkiBum .. This is the best way to get in touch with Randall. The lakes they fish on the eastside are very good lakes with the opportunity to catch a 10+ bass better than average.

FullPul and highSteel .. There are quite a few clubs located on the northside and westside of Atlanta that have monthly tournaments

I am 13, and live in Cartersville too. I have a 12 foot Grumman and we are restoring a 15 foot Lund fish and ski. Do you know of many smaller lakes, ponds or rivers in the area? I hear there are some good ones in Acworth, but have no clue where.
