NAFC Bass Strategies Book

Featured Replies

Does anyone have this? I signed up for the club but it said I had to pay another 10 bucks for the book. It also says they will send more. If anyone is in the NAFC can you give me the details on this.

When I was in that dumb club they sent me one of those books. I admit it was good but most of the content in the book I already knew. Also after you buy the first book if you do not want to pay for it you have to pay for shipping and handling to send it back (Thats what I heard)

yeah im in the nafc and when you first sign up, they will send you the book. they say if you dont want to be in the book club, then dont pay for the first book and state that you dont want to be in it. thats what i did and i never had another book offer again. i suggest you just stay away from the book club as its trouble. my friend from NAFC is selling all of his books because he doesnt fish anymore. hes using the money from his fishing stuff to buy paintball stuff. anyway, here is a list of the books he's selling and you can contact him on this website (the link is to the nafc bb)

Those books do have some useful information.I have one called bass strategies, they have all kinds of cool information on just about every bass lure on how it works, how to present it right, where it works best and when the best time to use it.It sounds like a novice beginner book and it is somewhat, but it also refreshes my memory on some other lures i don't fish with much. It's a great book to have if you enjoy reading up on it.If i were to get somebody fishing bass with me i would give them this book to read...it's the perfect book explaining just about everything they need to know.

The last one i got was on knot tieing and boat positions..send that one back. :-/

grimlin is the book club worth it? isnt it like 10 bucks? and how many do they send u

Not sure how many they send,i joined not too long ago and i've only gotten two books. After sending the second one back i haven't gotten another book since.Somebody told me you get one every 1-3 months...i haven't gotten one in awhile so i really don't know how many they keep sending. You can mention you don't want anymore and they won't send them.Their mag. suck though...stay away from their mags.

I'm really glad i kept one,the one i have i've seen in the book stores with just about the same information for over $20.

You can sign up for a field tester as well,i got a free fillet knife off them...it's pretty nice.

As for it's worth it? My answer would be somewhat...nothing is for free though...and it can become expensive if you order their books and stuff. They have a forum on their website as well...they will probably be way more helpful answering anything you have a question on.

It's a fishing club to keep you up to date on some products that come out and books that can be useful...really not much more i can say.

Right from the start you tell them you don't want books and don't send any. After a few years and it costing you $15 a year to use the message board and 6 magazines ,  You'll catch on and drop them before they try to make you a life member that is told to you every two months. Your test products will proable never net worth $5 each. More less.

I got rid of them my 4th year. Don't miss them at all.   Life member ? RIGHT!

Tell me another one.

I was in the nahc same thing I dropped them a year ago and told them not to send any more books but they keep coming,I just put rts on the box and put it back in the mail box and thats it,it goes back. They keep sending bills on books I allready payd for and refuse to pay any more DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(

ONCE your taken on the book club thing > You will learn never to do it again. I learned about this type of deal back in 1977 and so as I joined the nafc , I said right away "NO"! and don't expect this club to be sending you $$$ electronics or boats to test. The monthly drawing is worse yet! 1 in a 1000,000,000
