How is the payout manged?

In other words, if we pay back 80% and keep 20% for the Classic Fund, how do you break down the 80% and how many places do you pay?

This is how our club does it

9 boats or less - 60% -1st place and 40% for 2nd place

10 boats or more we pay 3 places 60%, 30% , 10%

Our club pays 1 place for every 6 boats. Example: 30 boats pays 1st thru 5th place 40 boats pays 1st thru 6th place. Side pots are 100% payout.
