We went out at about 8a in search or Pike. This is all we got all day so needless to say the bite was slow. The first LM we got within about an hour. We fished for about 6 hrs. and decided to call it a day. As we were walking around to the tip ups a flag goes up. We get to it and the line is screamin'. My buddy says grab it, it's a pike. I pull up the tip up and give it some slack. Pull till I feel a little tension then give a nice tug to set the hook then nothing. I get it all the way to the whole before I feel tension again. I say it's not a Pike but a decent fish. The next thing I see is this big ol mouth. Pull it out and it's a decent Largemouth. Nice way to end the day.
