went out the other day and caught eight bass in about two hours from shore at my secret lake. Got pictures of only six though.  caught the first two on a mepps spinner, and the rest were all on a small rapala silver minnow. I used an ultralight setup only expecting pickerel, but was pleasantly surprised.
