3-30 Fat Friday!

Featured Replies

Had quite a good day at my little spot across the street from work. Using exclusively purple berkley power worms I was able to these babies, and a few others that I didn't get photo'd. I forgot to press the save button  :-[ on my phone of one bass that had the reddest eyes I have ever seen.

Very nice fish! I caught a couple of bass with really red eyes the other day. Also caught some that had very yellow eyes. I believe those are males and the eye color changes with the pre-spawn. In the summer the bass have dark brown eyes, at least around here. I allways seem to catch bass with red or yellow eyes only in the early spring. I dont know if i'm right about this but that's what i noticed in the past years.
