Rainy Day Bass

Featured Replies

Headed out at Stonewall Jackson Lake on Saturday with a light drizzle of rain. Ended up being a good day. ;) Water was 61 degrees, slightly stained. Caught one 5lbr, one 4.9lbr, one 4.5 lbr, and two that were just over three pounds. Caught 17 in all but these were the biggest. :) All, (largemouth) came from a pig and jig except the five and a small Kentucky spot which came from a Rapala DT 10.

My thanks to all who contribute on this forum for the knowledge that I have gained to have a good day of fishing so early in the year.

Sounds Fun! Did you happen to snap any pictures? Love to see them. I love fishing in the rain...just feals right! Fisher mood you know?! haha well hope you had fun!
