well guys..i went out again today from about 3:30 to 6:45.the wind was blowin about 10-15 right in my face an i didnt have a bite until the wind shifted an was blocked by the woods to my right.i was casting a golden shiner colored BPS XPS tri vibe crank an had a hit.set the hook an nothing.the very next cast i hooked into a 1.14 pound bass with alot of fight in em.just two cast later i had another strike an it was a slightly larger fish. i couldnt weigh him but judging by the size of his mouth he was larger than the last.probably a little over a pound.then on my very next cast a large fish struck the lure an fought for about 2 minutes.when i fisrts grabbed him i guess him to be 3 pounds.when i put him on the scale he ended up being just shy of 3 at 2.12 pounds, still a nice fish by my standards,he was about 17 inches.about an hour or so later i was casting a gold chatterbait intto a little side pond that is connected tot he main pond by a dith. i saw two nice sized fish swimin in there an had one hit but the lure came out when i set the hook.after not gettin any hits i changed the retrieve an reeled for a few cranks then let it fall an repeted on about my fifth cast the bigger of the two bass cae an hit it.i had loosened the drag n he put up one heck of a fightwhen i finally got him in i weighed him in at 2.11 took a pic an released it, he was about 18 inches

Nice bass.  Those chatterbaits always seem to produce bass over 2lbs for me, I guess dinks are detered from them because of all the noise they make.

yea this is only my first year using them but they do seem to produce very nice fish, an the ones that you catch always put up a good fight , none of that swim right up to the shore/boat mess  ;D
