Great day for numbers

Featured Replies

I don't know how many bass  I caught today but it was a whole lot.

I was swimming a finesse worm and it caught bass all day long.

Some as small as 6" some as big as 2.5 lbs.

Fat Ika in blue was working too, but oddly was not catching bigger bass.

tried a matt BB, no luck,

spinnerbait, no luck

ratLtrap, no luck

chatterbait, no luck

fluke, no luck

Horney toad was working pretty good, but again nothing of any size,

so I just twitched and swam my little zoom finesse worm and was happy with a numbers day.

I'll spare you the agony of yet another "avids famous fish head in the shadows" photo.

A ton of lil ones is better than none at all. I love just catching and if i get a hawg...  great. But as long as I'm gettin fish I'm happy.

Congrats on the good day of fishing. 1 More week and i might be able to start again if the doctor clears me. Keep slamming em big or small.   ;D

yea deffinetly i would rather catch 5 one pounders than catch 1 five pounder over the caurse of a whole day

There are days like that! Sooner or later you'll get a hawg! Alot of small fish are alot better then none! ;)

I like to after the bigguns, but I don't have the discipline of say Fish Chris or Mattlures, meaning

"Go big or go home"

I get bored to quickly if I'm not getting action.

That being said, I will always try for bigguns by using large baits, fishing very deep, etc.

But yesterday was just one of those days.

the "keepers" were bitin like crazy and the bigguns weren't, so I just "went with it" and decided I was gonna just ketch me some bass.

It was a beautiful day and alotta fun.
