I am feeling you Chris. They been slamming my balsa baits and chewing them up ! How do you get them to stop hitting bass baits? The other day I caught 2 pickerel on Trick Sticks!

Pickeral are fun dude!!!

You know the old saying

When pickeral are inevitable, relax and enjoy  ;)

PS.  I don't think there is any way to stop them hitting your bait.

Pickeral tend to hit from behind and bass from the side, so if you see a torpedo heading towards your lure from the rear you can try pulling it away.

Personally I think they are mad fun to catch.  And surprisingly good eating.

carry a 12 gauge that usually gets them off the bait before they get to the boat ;)

I hate pickeral!!! >:(

LOL

if the bass aren't bitin but the picks are thats good enough for me...they are some slimey tho...

You guys sound like trout fisherman.

they can be thrilled by a 9 inch trout but put em on a 2 lb bass and they scoff at the "trash fish"

Hey muddy, those teeth marks are battle scars!!!

I swear they make the lures work better.
