Fishing Okoboji, Iowa ***VIDEO***

Featured Replies

We just just got back from fishing in northern Iowa at West Lake Okoboji. The fishing was tough and bass were few and far between. In the 2 1/2 days that were were there we boated about 50 Bass between the three of us (My dad, brother and I). We found that the most productive lures were C-rigged brush hogs and jigs. Most of the fish that we caugh were in about 10-15 feet of water. The water temp was 61-62 degrees and each day the wind was blowing about 10-20mph.

Here is the Video (8min 49s)

cool vid!!

suggestion- Leave more line out and keep hand on rod handle when landing fish.  Holding the tip or holding the rod a foot from the tip is going to get you a broken rod one of these days.
