well on monday i bought a st croix premier 6" and an abu garcia cardinal 502 spooled up with power pro 20 #(only because they were out of sufix),yesterdasy i took it out for a few hours and had a pretty good day.i started of with a senko knock off,gander mtn black magic,from what ive been told its the same thing as the yum knock off, and after a few mionutes i got a nice hit and fought her for a little over a minute she was 3,14,after a while with no strikes i moved over to the weed beds and threw a ribbit and had a ton of hit but only pulled in a fish around 2 pounds and one that went 3 on the nose.i only have pics of the first fish but will post them as son as i get them downloaded to the computer

How does fighting a 3 pounder feel on a 6" rod???  

Back on subject, it always feels good to get the first fish out of the way on new equipment.
