Interesting Senko Catch

Featured Replies

Anyone ever had this happen when fishing a senko?

Im sure other people have caught cats with them before but it is a first for me.....

This guy was only about 2.5 pounds its just a good picture that makes him look bigger.....

Happens a lot near me. Saw a guy pull out a 6lber a few weeks back on a senko.

On the Senko, I've caught:  Largemouth, Channel Cat, and Walleye.

Funny, I can't remember catching any Smallmouth on a Senko, but surely I have.

I have caught several on the Senko knockoff by Wave, but none on the real thing.

I've caught cats on crankbaits, c-rigs, t-rigs, jigs. I'm suprised us bass fisherman don't catch more cats flipping through weeds and around logs and brush.

I have caught channel catfish on spinnerbaits, and a crankbait, but never a senko.

However, I did catch a 15 pound carp on a 4" YUM dinger, which is a senko knock-off.

Never on a Senko, but I've caught them on plastic worms, crank baits and even a spinner bait one time. I caught a 28" Channel cat on a 4" finesse worm one time.

This fish was realy fun for me to catch. He was my first cat in like 3 months. I went out yesterday for about an hour with some dough balls and caught two more small cats as well. Today I found out that that particular lake was stocked with 500 pounds of channel cats about a month ago. Im going to go down there next weekend and throw for them again. Hopefully I can get a big one like the once I used to catch in there a few years ago.

Here is the pic of the full fish

Three weeks ago I caught 3 in one day on a green pumpkin-chartreuse laminate.  The biggest was around 22".  I thought I had a heck of a bass. >:(

I have only caught cats on 2 lures:

Roostertail: All the time. I even target them with this one in one pond here on base.

Super Spook Excalibur: once while fishing for hybrids.
