I use them and they are among my favorite to you. They have the best castiblity on any crankbait I have ever tossed less than $10.00.

I can't recommend colors because I don't know your waters so choosing according to the forage would be a good start.

One last thing. I don't buy into their hype however of that scorpion type EWG hook they have on certain models. I prefer traditional trebles. If anything those EWG scorpion type hooks are good and grabbing things like grass. If those are the only types in your area to buy, you can always switch them out.

I can say that the dt 10 in colors red crawdad, brown crawdad, and bluegill have always worked on Indiana lakes.

I fish them just above our grass lines and have had good luck,oh yeah they do not have the EWG hooks on them anymore, because they do catch alot of grass like islandbass said.

Same colors as above. I like to use them all around rocks, I use a bait that goes a little deepr than the bottom I am fishing , so as to keep in contact with the rock and bottom

They are the best you can buy under $10.  Bluegill is my color of choice right now, but the silver/black works great too.

another vote for the bluegill. It just such a great looking pattern. Although I think I like it more then the fish. ;D

These really are good baits and not that expensive for what you get

another vote for bluegill color.

I use it where the primary forage is shad and it still works great.

i suggest you buy an arsenal of them!

buy some DT 03's, 04's, 06's, 10's and if you water is really deep then get some of the deeper ones.

silver is my favorite color. shad is also very good. with DT crankbaits i really just try to match the hatch. sometimes a bright obnoxious color will catch their attention though.

rapala DT's are definitley the best crankbait <$10 hands down. they are my favorite lure. i just love how easy they are to select and use.

They are great baits. I love the silver/black,bluegill, baby bass and have some suprising success on the parrot color also. They are well made baits and have run pretty true right out of te box for me too. I haven't  bought the DT-3's yet. I have used the 4's, 6's,10's and 16's though.

you should get some DT 03's (the fat ones, not the flat ones).

they have such a wide wobble its crazy. i have one DT 03 and it has caught more fish than any other DT i have.

the only problem i have with the dts are i have had a couple that the lip have come out when casting, but other than that they are great are here we call them bottom bouncers and are the number one pic for spawning time

The most sucessful model for me has been the DT 6 in brown craw. I snagged my last one in a laydown about a month ago ;) gonna have to buy a new one soon.
