im stoked, its just a club but its gonna be fun

what should i fish? my boater says 10-30 ft of water using thigs lik dropshot, split shots, and possibly tailspins. i dont want to throw the same thing as him but i will do drop shot prob, any ideas other than that? i was kinda  thinkin jigs

as for weather, its so cal so water temp prob 55-60 and prob just before pre spawn

I would also be throwing a 1/2 oz football in brown/purple w/ a pork trailer.

that is of course if I wasn't to be throwing big baits ;)

60 degree water arent they about to be spawning lookk for them to be coming up during the day on the spawning flats.

Yup, as the bizz said, drop-shot or football jig. Shakey head might be worth a few casts as well.

Spring, pre spawn.... 10-30 feet of water.  Lots of stuff will work but... I'd have a dedicated c-rig rod and a few bags of zoom lizards with me.  YMMV

If it were me I would be throwing a flat crankbait with a slow rise, a suspending jerkbait, and fish a drop shot.

sounds like a carolina rig situation to me.
