i fished a neighborhood lake called woodland pond. Actually more of a lake: 107 acres

I started out throwing X-Raps(deep version) and got a absss and a chain pickerel. I then felt fishing vertical. So i went out in the channel and looked for pods of fish and bait stacked up on the bends/brushpiles/or any structure out there.     I was fishin a 1/2 oz silver hopkins with a owner dressed treble. I caught 3 on that. All three very nice fish.  A 2 1/2 a 3 and a 5. I guess i did pretty good for the waterb being 46 degrees, and the air temp lower than that today lol

Actually JJ, you did great.

Remember to wear your PFD at all time when out in the water this time of the year.

And hopefully you have someone to go with you as there is safety in numbers.
