Well we finally had a couple of warmer days here in southeastern mass, i've been waiting months to get back out on the water. I got out of work early today so i decided to load up and hit the lake. Once i got everything situated in the boat it was finally time to start fishing woohoo. First cast i make BAM (fish on) a nice 3.5 pounder. Man what a way to start the new season. Ofcourse an hour and a half later not another bite, but water temps in the mid 40's you can expect them to be too active. Thats ok though its not even spring yet.

Nothing like getting a strike on theat first cast!  Congrats.

I got my first today too only 1.75lb.  It was cold!! 25 mph wind 40 degree water off the shore. Im pysched!!!
