March in Iowa, No Way!!!

Featured Replies

Well the black and blue jig and pig kicked out these 3 fish in a matter of 20 minutes.  The sun got high in the sky and the fish became active.  A front came through half an hour later and shut the bite off but man was it hot for a while!  Fish went 5-2, 5-4, and 6-14 from top to bottom.

We wanted a 25 lb sack, buddy lost a 3.5-4 lb fish and had one break him off, either a nick in the line or bad knot that was a pig too.  Oh well I cannot complain.

Wow, great fish there.  How deep did you get them and what type of structure?
