A great day!

Featured Replies

This saturday was the first day for trout here in PA. Me and my buddy were on the stream at 4 in the morning so we could get a good spot. We fished for trout in the stream and a pond up stream a little ways until about 12 and i caught a few nice ones including this big rainbow that probably went 3.5-4.5 pounds.

After they stopped hitting we headed out to a bigger creek which is kind of our secret smallie spot. I was getting them on t-rigged craws and my friend caught 2 on minnows. This was the nicest one of the day. He was decent but i've caught bigger out of here.

We ended the day by catching a bunch of crappie and smaller bass at a pond up the road. Today was awsome!

Congrats.  Rainbows are such a beautiful fish.  It's been years since i got to go trout fishing.  Kind of miss it  :-[.  Oh well, great job.
