After a few months of no luck with the Bass in my lake, the bite is back! ;D I caught this beauty with my last cast on a wacky rigged grape/watermelon 8 inch worm and a tiny hook! This was the first time I caught a fish of this size with a worm. Sorry for the poor quality of pic but my camera crapped out on me. Some people saw me catch her from their balcony and were kind enough take this pic on their cellphone and forward it to me. Also she had 2 old hooks in her lip that I helped take care of for her. What do you think she weighted?

Wow, nice fish! I would guess 8-9lbs

8-9 lbs if your arm isn't outstretched. you can make a fish look pretty different depending on how you hold it.      no telling.

No long arm trick here, but I know what you mean ;). I had to get her back in the drink so I only had time for the one pic. She was about 26 inches long and a good fight as I took here in with a light tackle setup that I use for catching bait fish.

3 1/2- 4 pounds. nice fish.

He stated the fish was aprox. 26' long. From the size of the fishes head and mouth i just cant see how that fish is less than 6 pounds?? What do you see that i dont? Im not being rude, just wondering how you guys gauge a fishes weight.

He did not see anything different. Just showing his Arse. It's obivious the fish is a lot larger than that.

If the fish was 26'' I would have to say at least 8lbs.

I"m guessing somewhere around 8 1/2 but she had been full fat belly oh her I bet you could have got double digits out of her.  Nice fish
