Went down to my local dredge canal yesterday. Got there about 5am but had no hits till about 9 or 10. Caught I think around 11 or 12 fish, all around 2lbs. It was pretty windy all day, probably into the 20mph zone. Water was pretty dirty but toward the back of the canal it got crystal clear. Caught most of my fish on flukes and senkos all in shad colors. Pretty fun day! I came back home mid day to beat the heat a little bit and to get some lunch then went back out later. Heres some pics.

Twilight hours, my biggest fish the whole day was around 3 1/2 pounds. He hit a chartreuse/white 5" senko fished like a jerkbait.

I know it doesn't mean much sometimes but that is one bassy looking canal! Sounds like a good day ...
