Night Fishing Pics from 05-17-08

I headed out to the lake at about 10:30 pm with the intentions of fishing top water only.  I hooked up on my first cast with a 2 pounder using a Meggabass popper.   I switched to a buzzbait for about 20 minutes but NOTHING.  I was going to go back to the popper but I couldn't resist using my jigs.  I started with a black/blue 1/2 ounce Booya with a 4" trailer fishing in 10-25' of water.  I got this one that weighed barely over 6 pounds.  She came up somewhat easy but took of like a bat out of he** when she got to the surface and saw the moon.

I ended up with 4 more that went from 2-2.5 pounds.

All fish released.
