NY Trip

Featured Replies

well we had a great trip.  good times with my folks and mom kept our bellies plumb full with the best d**n home cookin ever!! ;D

i went to cayuga lake friday morning and met up with an old friend for some smallies.  i never had to get the camera out.  i caught two non-keepers right of the bat and that was it!  the weather was terrible.  it was nice to see the folks up to the lake but the fishing was just terrible.

on the other hand, in my hometown, i took my nephew down to the local river and i landed a nice 31" northern pike.  i guessed around 6-7lbs but the "fish calculator" here on BR told me 11lbs, you be the judge.

all in all though it was a great trip, but sadly it may have been my last trip to my hometown.  my folks will be moving to Ohio soon so when i take my yearly visit, it will be to Ohio.  anyway we had fun and it was great to catch a pike again!!

6-7 or 11 lbs doesn't matter that's a fine fish, and, I'll bet it stretched the line.

Tight Lines!!!
