Just joined here a week or so back. Lots of info to read if you search.

But i was more a cast whatever out and if i caught something great.

Baught new gear after reading here on some guidlines. Got some reccommended berkly powerbait worms in pumpkin color. Watched some vids on you tube on how to texas rig a worm.

I went out this morning till noon all bass i caught 8 I had to change the worm a couple times. IT was great havnt had that much fun in years. Here are some pics 6 where decent size for the pond and i had two little guys.

itll be fun say the next year or two. They sucked it dry here a while back. limit was 13 inches now its 21. I dont keep them so it dont matter to me.

Oh i have heard of the dreaded baitmonkey. I just dont know how to have good success with crankbaits yet. The most ive had it at a shallow golf course pond. Ive got the basics shallow runner, couple rattle traps. sexy shad. deep runner. repella originals two sizes. I just always get caught on stuff with them and loose them.  spinners i have good luck with but i always catch everything. catfish, bluegill and bass.

With the worm nothing but bass :).

But i have gave the baitmonkey prob 100-150 this month. then another 150 on new reel and rod.

Nice fish and the dang bait monkey will get you everytime if you don't watch out!!! ;D ;D
