has any one tried bogsbait 7'' custom hand-poured frogs ??

I haven't gotten much into frogs yet, but if I did, I would be all over this one. That thing looks perfect. I am amazed how realistic it actually looks.

Funny seeing that thing here.  I actually bought a couple of these for real cheap on ebay.  I haven't fished them yet.  But I can tell you that its kind of a solid piece of rubber an that it wont float.  Also you'll need a massive hook to rig this thing like a gammy G Mag.  I was thinking I'd eventually throw this thing over some lily pads and drag it over some open water pockets between them, but I'd love to hear what you're planning on doing with them! lol

yeah their sold on e-bay , i love to frog fish , nothing like topwater hookups !!!! but i was wondering how these things fish , so you say they sink , that's not good   i don't mind if it SLOOOWLY sinks , i like to let my frogs swim a little below the surface between mats and thru wispy vegatation . the guy who makes these lures says they are molded from a real frog , but if there is no bouyancy , it looks as tho i won't get them .... thanks !!

i want to ask you , since you got them on EBAY , did you also see the 52st toadsters and did you get them , they looked nice . btw , i love frog fishing , if you can tell me of other not-so-well-known frog to use id appreciate it greatly . can't find nothing better than the CANYON PLASTICS 4.5'' frogs pictured below .....

my local tackle store stocks alot of 3:16 lures , they have the frogs , but only in black and white , im waiting till they get the brown or green ones .........

Yea I wouldn't buy those bog frogs again personally.  You like frogs?  My new favorite topwater is the fish arrow cover jack.  Its built even better than a spro frog, is easier to walk, and has better hookups.  I highly recommend it.

those look nice but do they make some wake , i can't see that colorado blade doing much on top of a mat , unless these are an open water lure . speaking of spro frogs , like i said , i love Canyon plastic 4.5'' frogs , well lately what ive been doing is when my canyon plastic frog's body gets torn up too much , i cut the legs off and pull the skirt out of the Spro and superglue the canyon plastic legs in , now thats a dynamite bass catching frog !!!!!!

The blade is only one of two attachments you get with the cover jack.  You can see the skirt in the picture right below it.  I almost always fish it with the skirt.  The action is awesome and you can fish it anywhere open water or over vegetation, I've caught fish both ways.  And YES you can make a wonderful wake with it because its so easy to control.

sounds good then , i will definitely give it a try , thanks btw , is there one skirt or two ? or is there a center eyelet to attach the one skirt that's pictured , or do you clip it to one of the frog hooks ? thanks again .......

There is only one skirt, but you'll understand why when you see the way it moves on the water.  You change out the blade by unclipping a little hinged split ring underneath the bait.  It is incredibly well built.  Another neat feature is that when you set the hook with it the entire bait will rotate out of the way of the double hooks giving you sweet sweet penetration. lol

i like the way you give feedback   i like the full description , really makes me want to try it . there is nothing sweeter than violent top-water strikes on frog lures !!!!!

I haven't caught anything on it yet but these are really cool. They float and swim much like a real frog

yup , they are on my list , my local tackle store doesn't have the green or brown ones in yet , but i might just have to try the black ones ( they only have black and white at the tackle store ) .....

Over the summer I purchased the weedless scumFrog from basspro.  I haven't had much luck with it tho..to be honest my best top-water bait has been a hard plastic cricket.

This is what the scumFrog looks like, and it's weedless so that can come in handy if you want to drag it out of moss and such.
