went out to two ponds today. once again, all fish were caught on ***! :)

at the first pond my dad caught a nice dink on a green pumpkin chartruese lam. ***.

then i caught a real dink (8") on a junebug ripper worm.

then he caught a pretty chunky 1.5lber on the same ***. it had a real nice gut for a bass of that size.

then we decided that pond was crap so we drove down to the next pond.

he caught a bass on a green pumpkin ripper worm on his first cast. then it got pretty slow.

i hooked up with a bass on a smoke blue pepper *** and landed it. it was a keeper...barely.

abou 15 minutes passed and i caught another bass not too far off from where i caught the other one on the same worm.

dad: 3 bass (biggest)

me: 3 bass

Time spent with dad is time well spent.  Now on to more important things. Where is your camera?

Letting your Dad catch the biggest fish was the right thing to do  ;)

I went fishing with my Dad today to and it was awesome. I can think of very few things I would rather do.

way to go dave and dad.  good times.

then put down that trick stick every once in a while and try a swimbait.

don't make me resort to the peer pressure tactic - "c'mon, everyone else is doing it".

j/k dave, any bass is a good bass and there's no such thing as a bad fishing trip. :)

Sounds like ole dad knows more then you think huh??? lol

Dave,

So what's the score?

Dad leads Dave 20-1-1.   ;D   ;D   ;D

Just kidding.

Keep trying those ponds and send the pics of the big ones.

Great to see that you spent some time with your dad. Nice report. Thanks for sharing.  :)
