100!

Featured Replies

So i've been taking summer classes and haven't gotten to fish as much as I wanted to this summer so I decided to challenge myself:

100 fish landed in one day

(the most fish i've ever caught in one outing was 30+)

So i got up and drove out to my fishing spot (mississippi river pool 11 dam-O'learys) at 5 am.

main point of story: 14 hours later after standing in a thunderstorm for about 20 minutes pulling my last 5 in, i finally reached the 100 mark!

boy was i tired... and sunburnt

the totals: 94 LMB 5SMB 1 northern pike

about 35 were on bomber model a's, 10 on senkos, 3-4 on xrap, and the rest on shakey head worms

so, after about 13 hours of straight fishing, i finally accomplished my goal for the summer  ;D

Congratulations on reaching the century mark!  How tore up are your thumbs tonight? ;D

Numbers are nice but did you hook any pigs?????????????????

Sounds like a great day! Congrats! A roughed up thumb is a small price to pay and one I'd be willing to pay over and over and over!  ;)
