took my 12 year old step son bass fishing for his first time. we had a great time and the first bass he caught was a decent one. i tell you what, there is no better feeling than taking a kid fishing. :)

    he was stoked!  i had taken him saltwater fishing before but catching a decent bass on medium light tackle is better than hauling up similar size fish on 20lb test.
